Filling plates for lid

By using the filler plates for lid, the volume of the chamber decreases. The benefit is that the cycle time becomes shorter and the gas consumption decreases. The filler plates are not designed for frequent mounting and dismounting therefore it may not be suitable if one of the products is taller than the inner height of the lid equipped with filler plates (+/- 140mm).

The material of the filler plates is in compliance with the European Directive for Food contact 90/128/EEC and its amendments. The material has closed cell structure and the water absorption is less than 1%. The expansion rate of the material during vacuum is less than 2%.

How much time can you save?
In case of VMS 883, the net volume of the chamber is 215 litres. With the standard 300m3 pump, the time needed to decompress the empty chamber is about 30 seconds. When the filler plates are mounted, the chamber volume becomes 150 litres and the vacuum time setting can be shortened to 20 seconds.
