At the heart of the Dutch sports e-commerce world stands PassaSports — the powerhouse behind well-known webshops like TennisDirect, HockeyDirect, RunningDirect, and VoetbalDirect. With over 375 dedicated employees and a 25,000 m² distribution center in Waalwijk, the company ships more than 1.3 million orders per year.
Handling such a high volume of shipments — especially during peak times like Black Friday — called for smarter logistics.
“We used to pack every order by hand. Open the bag, insert items, seal, label — a time-consuming and error-prone process,”
says Koen Kuijsters, Logistics Process Engineer at PassaSports. “With our continued growth and customer expectations, it was time to innovate.”
