Advanced validatable Bag-in-Box vacuum sealing 

Audion's revolutionary PLUS IP65 Bag-in-Box vacuum sealer provides high-class sealing technology ensuring optimum control of process parameters in demanding environments like food or powder packaging in pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

The Bag-in-Box configuration is equipped with software ensuring a fully controlled vacuum sealing of heavy duty bags that are used as a box liner, where the box comes under the sealer via a conveyor, support or pallet. Wide support legs of the frame enable the use of Europallets.

The motorized descent function of the seal head and extra wide stainless steel vacuum nozzle enable an optimized vacuuming as products can be reached closest by the automatic nozzle descent into the bag. Automatic height control can be set in the software and performed by the motorized frame. All together ensuring optimal vacuum performance and resulting into optimal protection of your product. 

 

The bi-active seal bars (1720 mm seal length) produce 8 mm hermetic seals, fully controlled by the integrated Audion Temperature Controller. The advanced Audion Touch Techware facilitates a user-friendly setting of up to 50 recipes, enabling you full control and monitoring of all critical process parameters. Alarms on critical seal parameters such as seal temperature, seal time, seal force and vacuum/gas time can easily be set with precise tolerance. Critical batch and packaging cycle information can be stored and downloaded.

Convenience and optimized perfomance

The motorized frame automatically lowers the seal head and vacuum nozzle for optimal vacuum results. Eventually, multiple cycles of vacuum and gas flush can be used to achieve a lower residual oxygen level. The machine height, along with other critical process variables, can all be set in up to 50 pre-programmed recipes. Together with a heavy-duty seal, this ensures unparalleled product safety. The widely spaced support legs allow you to place your products on a euro pallet under the machine.

 

Designed for challenging environments

Ultimate product safety and quality thanks to the dust- and splash proof IP65 design to actively prevent both internal and external contamination. The robust stainless steel housing is easy-to-clean and protects the internal elements of the machine from dusty or moist production settings. The optional particle ejection system (PES) clears the vacuum system of residual product after each cycle to prevent it from contamination of next production.

An integrated vacuum/ gas flush system

The Power Sealer PLUS IP65 Bag-in-Box configuration comes standard with a powerful integrated vacuum system and seal head float down software to facilitate an optimized vacuum result and full controll of vacuum sealing big bags prepacked in a box.

This vacuum packaging solution is equipped with a Busch centrifugal pump. The vacuum pump offers effective air cooling, long service life, low maintenance, dry and contact-free operation and high pressure differentials thanks to two compression stages. In addition, this powerful pump has a very low noise level thanks to a fully enclosed unit and internal silencers.

The vacuum system can be combined with gas flush to create modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). The gas flush system ensures safe and quality-controlled packaging of all kinds of products and extends the shelf life of food products, can provide sterile protection essential for medical instruments and minimizes the change of metals oxidizing of e.g. electric equipment and delicate components. 

The VAC PSR PLUS IP65 Bag-in-box is standard fitted with many cutting edge vacuum features and exhaust features, which is why they are ideal for use in a wide range of applications including cleanroom environments.

The integrated vacuum system can be used for:

  • Volume reduction of the package to save storage and shipment costs
  • Applying a modified atmosphere (MAP) to extend the shelf-life of food products
  • Prevention of oxidation of, for example, metal/electrical components

Particle ejection system:

To remove residual product from the vacuum system after each cycle, the vacuum system is cleaned by means of an outward thrust of air. This prevents contamination in the lines and nozzle and also prevents residual product from being mixed/contaminated during the production of a different product.

Barcode scanner:

The Audion Touch Techware allows you to store 50 pre-programmed recipes with critical process variables. For quick access to these recipes, you can recall them using a barcode scanner. This way you can efficiently and safely start the sealing process of your product with the correct settings.

User level administration:

User-level registration, access rights and user registration can be password protected to maintain full control over the seal integrity of your packaging processes. Operator data is also included in the downloadable information for analyzing purposes.
